Permitting and Licenses

The Washington County Industrial Park is located in the City of Potosi.

Building permit fees apply.

Washington County does not require permitting for sites outside of the city limits of Potosi.

Compliance with state and federal regulations required for business licenses in both the City of Potosi and in Washington County.

Business licenses may be obtained at City Hall, 121 E. High Street, Potosi, Mo 63664 and at the Washington County courthouse, 102 N. Missouri Street, Potosi, Mo 63664.

Commercial Building Permits:

$0 – $100,000.00 ……………………………….. $150.00 + $8.5 per sq. ft

$100,000.00 – $250,000.00………………. $250.00 + $8.5 per sq. ft

Over $250,000.00………………………………… $500.00 + $8.5 per sq. ft

Building Permit Applications must be submitted to the City of Potosi Building Inspector, Dennis Hill, before permits are issued. The permit fee does NOT include City Engineering review. Additional fees may apply.
