The Board of Directors for the Washington County Industrial Development Authority met on May 6, 2025. The board had a variety of topics and projects to discuss, with main priorities being the annual audit and strategic planning.
Consulting Director Rowe, provided an update on the relaunch of the Industrial Enhancement Grant, the IDA’s in-house grant program administered through Southeast Economic Development or SEED$. There was also discussion on the need for rail use in the county and the Board scheduled a work session for strategic planning in August.
The Board noted the current vacancy and has requested an appointment from the County Commission.
