The Board of Directors of the Washington County Industrial Development Authority met on July 1, 2025 and welcomed new board member, Sarah Land, to fill the unexpired term of Reggie Rowe.
The board elected officers as follows:
Mr. Donald Thompson – President
Mr. Chris Farrell – Vice President
Mr. Craig Portell – Secretary/Treasurer
The board also approved the annual 2024 audit as prepared and presented and discussed various other projects. It was determined that the board would seek bids for insurance on all IDA properties and liability insurance for 2026 renewals. The request for bid will be published in September with an early December deadline.

The Board of Directors of the Washington County Industrial Development Authority met again on August 12, 2025 with only a few items of business to conduct. Jaclyn Rowe, Consulting Director, informed the board of ongoing projects and developments and the board discussed the option to extend audits to bi-annual for cost savings. The Board agreed to finalize a decision next month. Director Rowe will attend the 67th Annual Governor’s Conference on Economic Development in September.
