The Board of Directors for the Washington County Industrial Development Authority met on December 2, 2025. The board had a variety of topics and projects to discuss, but a majority of the meeting was spent specifically on end-of-year business and insurance for the 2026 year.
Consulting Director, Rowe, announced that no bids were received from the request for bids published for property and liability insurance. The renewal premium summary was received from the current carrier and the board discussed potential options. The Board decided to transfer their operating account to accrue a higher interest rate and Director Rowe was given permission to draft and submit the 2026 budget to the Washington County Commission.
Director Rowe updated the board on various tasks from the previous month before moving in to executive session.
