The board of directors for the Washington County Industrial Development Authority met on April 7, 2024. The board began the meeting with a bid opening for bushhogging at the Industrial Park for 2024. The Board was updated on the progress of the Wastewater Treatment Plant #3 transfer to the City of Potosi. Final appraisals are expected in the coming weeks with an anticipated closing date of May 15, 2024. The Board also discussed sending a letter of request to the County Commission in regard to placing the 1/2 cent sales tax for economic development back on the ballot in April of 2025.
