The Board of Directors for the Washington County Industrial Development Authority met on April 1, 2025.  The board, again had a variety of topics and projects to discuss, with main priorities being updates on park maintenance and anticipation of the upcoming sales tax vote.

Consulting Director, Rowe, provided an update on planning for the upcoming Sales Tax for Economic Development campaign, including continued progress made on the www.letsgrowwashco.com website and Facebook page.  The goal of both platforms is to provide transparency and education regarding the upcoming proposition for economic development on the April 8, 2025 ballot.  Passing the measure is a vital part of the WCIDA strategic plan. Rowe also informed the Board about the viral response of the “Let’s Grow Town Hall” held on March 27, 2025.

The Board accepted the resignation of Vice President, Reggie Rowe.
