The Board of Directors for the Washington County Industrial Development Authority met on May 5, 2026. The board had a variety of topics and projects to discuss, but here are the highlights from the meeting:

Opportunity Zone 2.0: Director Rowe provided an update on the upcoming application due to the State of Missouri by May 17, 2026, which encompasses Hopewell, Springtown, and Mineral Point.

Community Investment: The board approved a $5,000 budget contribution to the Washington County Chamber following a formal request.

Leadership Updates: The board voted to maintain current officers “as is,” while appointing Kim Walton as Treasurer and Sarah Land as Assistant Secretary.
Director Rowe updated the board on various tasks from the previous month before moving into executive session.
